First, standardize charging habits. Do not over-discharge the battery: avoid driving the electric tricycle until the battery is completely exhausted. Deep discharge will cause irreversible damage to the internal cells. Meanwhile, do not overcharge. After the charger indicates full power, cut off the power supply in time. Long-term floating charge will accelerate the aging of the battery pack. It is recommended to use the original matching charger for charging.
Second, pay attention to the use environment. Electric tricycles often work outdoors. Try to avoid exposing the battery to strong sunlight for a long time in summer. High temperature will increase the internal pressure of the battery and accelerate aging. In rainy days, do not let the battery be soaked by rainwater to prevent short circuit. In cold winter environments, the battery capacity will slightly drop, which is a normal physical phenomenon. It is recommended to charge and use the battery after it returns to room temperature.
Third, long-term storage management. If the electric tricycle is parked for more than one month, do not store the battery with empty power. Adjust the battery power to 50%~70%, place it in a dry and ventilated room, and supplement the power every 1~2 months to prevent excessive self-discharge.
Fourth, daily inspection. Regularly check whether the battery shell is damaged, whether the wiring terminals are loose or rusted. If abnormal heat or peculiar smell is found during use or charging, stop using it immediately and contact after-sales personnel for inspection.
